by heart
By experience? Hmmm, well....

My story
Once upon a time, I graduated with a degree in economics, specializing in travel and hospitality. I kicked off my career as a tour operator and guide, honing my organizational skills during group trips across Europe. After a few years, I switched gears and joined the banking world, where I spent four years as a highly valued executive assistant to a board member. Financially secure, surrounded by hobbies and friends, I was living what some might call the dream life—but it wasn’t my dream.
My dream was to travel the world.
So, in 2011, I decided to follow my heart and moved to New York. The plan was simple: take a sabbatical year, explore a new destination every three months, and then return to Budapest to build a “real” career. Well, that year turned into nearly seven. The career had to wait.
During those seven years, I took on various jobs in various countries, lived through incredible experiences, and matured in ways I never expected. Problem-solving became my daily bread, and every adventure shaped the person I am today.
Over the past 20 years, I’ve gathered a diverse set of transferable skills that now complement my UI/UX expertise, shaping my path as a Product Designer. I practiced storytelling by writing travel articles, learned how to monetize my digital skills, studied lean organizational management in the UK, and demonstrated my creative problem-solving abilities as an assistant manager at a hotel in Sri Lanka.
For the past four years, I’ve lived in Germany, working as the Operations Manager for a fast-growing startup in the bio-chemical research field. During this time, I refined my presentation skills by leading staff trainings and explored effective ways to motivate and inspire my team.
Then, 2024 arrived with a big question: How do I combine the things I’m good at, the things I enjoy, and make a living out of it?
I was longing for a job I truly loved and enjoyed. I spent hours taking various ability, personality, IQ, and skills tests, all of which pointed me towards UX/UI design—a field I had never heard of before. But as I dove deeper into the subject, I began to feel that I had finally arrived at my first true career path.
I immersed myself in every step of the learning process with enthusiasm and dedication. Mornings, I woke up excited to continue working on my design projects, and my weekends were often spent exploring topics related to UI and UX design, fueling my passion for continuous growth.

In my free time
I spend most of my free time cleaning cat litter boxes, as I am a hobby cat breeder, and sometimes I have more cats than I should
I am dedicated to eliminating certain inheritable diseases from my chosen breed, the Sacred Birman, and I also volunteer as a tutor for an organization that educates cat breeders. I attend 2-3 cat shows a year, and my cats sometimes win prizes.
When I’m not busy with my cats, you can find me hiking, exploring the world, on a quest to find the best gluten-free pizzas in Italy, inline skating, solving riddles, doing acroyoga, or simply enjoying the morning sun, regardless of the season. I enjoy socializing, meeting new people, and experiencing new things.
I love traveling, and if I can’t find a good cat sitter, my cats travel with me on holiday. Yes, traveling with 4+ cats looks just as crazy as it sounds!
